Mount Amelia

Built in 1745, and originally named ‘Mount Amelia’, Ingoldisthorpe Hall was once a substantial North Norfolk country house and estate.

Still set in thirty acres of private grounds and parkland, it offers exceptional views across the Norfolk coast and is just one of a few Grade II* listed Country Houses in England


Large Group Accommodation

Ideally suited to large groups the accommodation can comfortably sleep up to 15 people.

Ingoldisthorpe Hall and Cottages are available to rent for holidays, weekends and one off events  - a home from home for family gatherings, birthday parties, the wedding of your dreams or for a family and friends holiday.


Luxury Self Catering Holiday Cottages

Mount Amelia has 3 charming self-catering estate cottages, sleeping up to 6, 4-5 and 4 people and are dog friendly allowing 1 dog per property. These can be booked together with Ingoldisthorpe Hall for large groups or on their own.

Luxury Bed and Breakfast

Ingoldisthorpe Hall at Mount Amelia offers luxury bed and breakfast from its beautifully presented and equipped rooms.  We have 3 fully en-suite rooms as well as 1 family suite and a couple of rooms with shared bathrooms. Please email Vicky to enquire.  Prices from £80 per night per room.Each room has recently been refurbished most have commanding views down over the Norfolk coast others have lovely views over the private park land.

Mount Amelia is a refreshingly different alternative to a hotel; we offer 4* quality with a quiet, comfortable and truly relaxing atmosphere.
